Workshop Facility and Logistics

The workshop will be held in-person in Singapore during the HPC Asia 2023 (HPCA23) conference, which will be co-located and held in conjunction with the SupercomputingAsia 2023 (SCA23) conference. HPCA23 will prepare one physical room for each accepted workshop, and the capacity of each room is approximately 50 seats. The time slot for each workshop is approximately 210 min. A projector and screen will be available in each workshop room. The final decision about the facility and logistics will be announced in the beginning nearer to the conference date.

Workshop Organiser’s Tasks

Each accepted organizer is responsible on the successful workshop management including the following tasks:

  • Send call for papers to appropriate mailing lists.

  • Create a website of the workshop to show the place, the time and the program of the workshop.

  • Manage full reviewing process of submitted papers.

  • Attend the workshop in person and manage the workshop.

The publication of the papers and materials of the workshop should be arranged by the organiser.

If Workshop Organisers want to receive ACM-related publication support, you will need to satisfy the following conditions:

  1. Workshop papers must be peer-reviewed by at least two reviewers.

  2. Workshop organizers need to form their own programme committee (PC), and the list of PC members are to be listed on the workshop’s public webpage.

  3. Workshops need to organize and prepare their own system for reviewing submissions (e.g. EasyChair).

  4. Workshop organizers must collect all camera-ready papers from the respective workshop and send them to the Proceedings Chair of HPCAsia2023 by the deadline (to be specified later).

If your Workshop would like to have the above support, please include the following items in your proposal:
(a) The number of submission and acceptance in HPC Asia 2021 and 2022 workshops (if applicable)
(b) Latest list of program committee (name and affiliation)

Camera-ready submission

The submission of camera-ready manuscripts consists of the following steps.

Please complete all steps no later than January 20, 2023 AOE, otherwise your paper will not be available at the time of the conference.

  1. Complete your e-Rights form first.
Authors whose manuscripts are accepted for publication will receive an email from [email protected] regarding the copyright transfer (check your spam settings if you do not receive it). Please indicate on the e-rights form which copyright form you would like to select. If payment is required (Open Access is selected), please complete the payment. If you do not complete this step, you will not receive an e-mail with the DOI or the TAPS link, and you will not be able to proceed to step 2 and beyond. Please complete this step first.
  2. Add the complete rights text and bibliographic strip to your camera-ready manuscript.
After completing their e-Rights form, authors will be emailed the complete rights text and bibliographic strip that must be added to their paper. Please add them to your camera-ready manuscript.
  3. Upload your camera-ready manuscript to The ACM Publishing System (TAPS).
Authors who have successfully completed their e-Rights forms will be instructed to upload their source files directly to The ACM Production System (TAPS). This system will generate the final published version in two-column format, but you must upload your submission in single-column format (Before uploading, it is recommended that you use the “sigconf” option to check in advance that there are no problems with the layout of the two-column paper that will be generated by TAPS). Please see TAPS Workflow for more detail.

Once again, we remind you that all of these steps must be completed, no later than January 20, 2023 AOE. In other words, please make sure that your manuscript has been approved by TAPS (step #6 on this page) by the deadline. If approved, you will see the status become 100 %.

Information About Fees

All Workshop participants/attendees will register under the  SCA23-HPCA23 conference registration, which will enable them to access the respective Workshops well as the HPCA23 and SCA23 conferences. Therefore, there is no option of “Workshop Only” registration. The HPCA23 organizers will not be able to provide any financial support such as registration fee for the conference or travel for the workshop organizers.
